Mary Ann (Jones) Oehring

Mary Ann (Jones) Oehring, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:40 P.M. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, while surrounded by her family at The Villages of Jackson Creek Memory Care, in Independence.
Mary Ann Jones was born May 27, 1950, to George Herbert (Herb) and Mary Florence Jones (Batterson) in Kansas City.
Mary Ann Graduated from Appleton City High School in 1968. After high school, she attended Nevada Beauty Academy, where she earned her cosmetology license.
On May 29, 1970, Mary, Ann married her high school sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Loren Oehring in El Dorado Springs. Three children were born to this union: one daughter and two sons.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary Ann is survived by: her husband, Robert Oehring; daughter, Christal and Michael (Shane) Zavodny of Blue Springs; son, Jason Oehring of Schell City, and Darren and Kim Oehring of Lone Jack; and four beloved grandchildren, Logan Oehring, Jay Oehring, Michaela Zavodny, and Kylie Zavodny.
Mary will be laid to rest in Taberville Cemetery.
Services for Mary will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
