Ronald Leroy Mogan, 68, passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, in Joplin. Ronald was born on May 12, 1954, to Darrel and Vera Mogan, in Osceola. He attended school and graduated from El Dorado Springs.

After High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He did two tours in Vietnam. After the Navy, he came back home and became a bounty hunter, in Stockton. While bounty hunting, he met and married Annette Wagner. He ran a construction business for 15 years. He loved to fish, hunt and work on cars.

Ron was very proud of his military background and chose to show it by serving on the VFW Honor Guard. He served faithfully for many years at the Stockton post. He served as Commander for a while. When he moved from Stockton, he joined the Nevada post.

Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Mogan; father, Darrel Mogan; mother, Vera Mogan; and sister, Edna Still.

Ron is survived by his two brothers, Darrel Mogan and Gerald Mogan; and three sisters, Beverly Morton, Sharon Mogan and Susie Vessey.

Services for Ron were Friday, Nov. 25, at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
