Corps and NWTF to hold annual youth turkey hunt

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stockton Lake and Cedar County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will accept applications now through March 10 for the 5th annual Youth Managed Turkey Hunt.

Youth, ages 6-15, are invited to apply for one of 10 spots available in the youth turkey season hunt, scheduled for April 8 and 9. Participation in a mandatory safety meeting will be required on April 8 during hunter check-in. The hunt will be held in the Hawker Point, Orleans Trail and Crabtree Cove campgrounds.
