They are catching lots of fish. You can catch all the two to five lb. blue cats you want. You’ll occasionally catch a bigger one up to the slot length. The river is still too swift set trot lines. You can use the boat ramp now.

We are open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Closed Sundays and Mondays until next snagging season.

I don’t know what they are catching with the Corps running so much water. The Corps has been running the river constantly. I have’t been here the past week.

They have been buying lots of live minnows.

Our hours are 9-6 and Sundays 9-5.

The crappie are aggressive when you find the right brush pile.

They are on brush piles in 20 to 30 ft. of water. If you find a good one, it will be a good one. If the crappie stop biting for a few minutes,, move. Watch out for pleasure boaters.

I used a 1/16 oz. jig with 1 – 1 1/4 inch plastic with some purple in it.

The walleye are also on the brush piles some.

The lake is 8.9 ft. high at 76 degrees.

Our hours are 8-5.
