On this next to last day of snagging season, the big run of spoonbill is still waiting on a rain to put some water movement in the Osage. I saw a boy catch two from the bank this morning. Other than that, all action has been from a boat. There will be lots of catfish action on set lines from Monday on.

The crappie are biting in Big Clear and in the south lake at Schell.

There are lots of people here today. They are catching fish but I’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to get down there and see their fish or ask where they caught them or what baits they were using.

This morning a guy said he had good luck on walleye.
