Do you have an interest in fly fishing but don’t know where to start? Maybe you’ve received a fly rod as a gift and haven’t put it together yet, and need some guidance. If you’ve never made a fly rod before or are looking for new tricks of the trade, this class is for you.
Instructor Danny Goldsmith will be helping students construct fly rods during a two-night class from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 12-13 at Bennett Spring State Park’s nature center. Class is limited to 10 participants who must provide their own fly rod kit, either purchased online or through a fishing shop.
Bennett Spring State Park is located at 26250 Highway 64A outside of Lebanon. For more information or to register, call 417-532-4338.
