Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of February 11th, 2024 through February 17th, 2025.
February 11th – Stealing in Rural El Dorado Springs – On February 11th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to NW 900 Road in rural El Dorado Springs, in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the reporting party, who stated that at some point in the last 30 days, an unknown individual had broken into the power substation and stolen multiple items. The items reported stolen included approximately 40 feet of copper clad wire, 10 feet of copper grounding wire, one 18 inch grounding clamp, and three tower clamps. An area canvas was conducted, evidence collected, and a report was filed. This investigation is ongoing.
February 12th – Stealing in Lowry City – On February 12th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to 2nd Street in Lowry City, in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the reporting party, who stated that their dirt bike had been stolen from the Lowry City Cemetery between February 9th and February 10th. The dirt bike was described as having a clutch handle being half broken, a red button missing, has a loud muffler, covered in stickers, and one tractor headlight on the front. The bike was valued at $2,000, and a suspect was named. This investigation is ongoing.
February 14th – Warrant Arrest (Writ) – On February 12th, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Lance Spencer at the St. Joseph Department of Corrections on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant was for a Habeas Corpus Writ, and thus has no bond. Lance was transferred to the St. Clair County Jail and released to Detention staff.
February 14th – Warrant Arrest (Traffic) – On February 12th, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Jeremy Barnhart at the St. Joseph Department of Corrections on a St. Clair County Warrant. The warrant contained charges of Operate Vehicle on Highway without Valid License – 2nd Offense, Driving While Intoxicated, and Littering – 1st. Jeremy was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $1,000 cash only.
February 17th – Warrant Arrest (Stealing) – On February 12th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to NE 201 Road in Lowry City for a warrant arrest attempt. Jerry Eaton was arrested on a St. Clair County Warrant with the charge of Stealing. Jerry was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $2,000 cash only.
Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of February 18th, 2024 through February 24th, 2025.
February 20th – Search Warrant in Rural Osceola – On February 20th. St. Clair County Deputies responded to NW 161 Road in rural Osceola to execute a search warrant. During the search of the property, a variety of drug paraphernalia, a various amount of containers containing a crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, and a quantity of methamphetamine were located. Kyten Robinson and Joseph Arreola were both arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Amphetamine or Methamphetamine. Both individuals were transported to the St. Clair County Jail, and during a search of their persons, Joseph was found to have drug paraphernalia on him. At this time, he was also charged with Delivery or Possession of a Controlled Substance at County/Private Jail/Correction Center Except with Prescription. Both Kyten and Joseph were booked and released from the St. Clair County Jail, pending formal charges.
February 21st – Felony Arrest (Failure to Register) – On February 21st, St. Clair County Deputies responded to East 6th Street in Lowry City in reference to a sex offender compliance check. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with Randy Higgs, and during the investigation, it was discovered that Randy had changed addresses without updating his registration. Randy was arrested at that time for Fail to Register as a Sex Offender Pursuant to 589..400-425, and was transported to the St. Clair County Jail for a book and release pending formal charges.
February 23rd – Structure Fire in Rural El Dorado Springs – On February 23rd, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to SW 300 Road in rural El Dorado Springs in reference to a structure fire. Upon arrival, the deputy met with Roscoe Fire Department and the property owner, and it was decided that the property was unsavable, due to being completely burnt to the ground.
