In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Aug 8 – Officers responded to 510 South Grand concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. Investigation revealed the theft of a blue, 1990, Chevy, extended cab pickup. Investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 1220 South Main, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed a Cub Cadet, zero turn, 52 inch cut, lawn mower that had been stolen. Suspect identified and investigation continuing.

Arrests: Richard L. Tigner, 50, El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, for failure to appear per Court ordered subpoena, with a $75.50 bond. He was released on bond pending  court appearance.

Roy A. Love, 50, El Dorado Springs, for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction. He was released on summons pending  court appearance.

Aug 9 – Arrest: Mark A. Cahill, 32, El Dorado Springs, for peace disturbance. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 208 West 54 Hwy, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of license plates from a motor vehicle, investigation continuing.

Officers received a report from 608 East Martin concerning a larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a renewal sticker off a license plate. Investigation continuing.

Aug 10 – Arrests: William A. Hunt, 43, El Dorado Springs, for Cedar County warrant for failure to appear, on an original charge of operate a motor vehicle without a license and no seat belt with a $200 cash only bond. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Chayne Bittner, 40, El Dorado Springs, for driving while Suspended. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 500 East Fields, Trailer 32, on a reported domestic disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Lee G. Queen, 19, El Dorado Springs for third degree domestic assault. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Aug 11- Arrest: Waylen D. Poore, 35, Appleton City, for 12 hour detoxification. He was released upon completing the 12 hour detoxification.

Aug 12 – Officers received a report of a burglary from 500 East Fields Trailer, 24A. Investigation revealed the theft of an X-Box, sword and two Halloween masks. investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 208 West Highway 54, concerning a reported burglary. Investigation revealed the theft of $20 cash. Iinvestigation continuing.

Arrests: Doreen L. Cooper, 59, El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, for failure to appear on original charges of assault and shoplifting with a $401 bond. She was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond or court appearance.

Bridgette Y Baxter, 45, El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant for probation yiolation on an original charge of possession of a controlled Substance with no bond. She was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending court appearance.

Joseph G. McMannis, 36, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant for two counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute with a $50,000 bond. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond or court appearance. He also received municipal summons for no operator’s license, fail to stop at a stop Sign, financial proof required, wrong license plates and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Doyle B. Dunn, 29, El Dorado Springs, for a parole violation warrant as a parole absconder. He escaped from custody. No officers were injured during the escape. Dunn is still wanted for the warrant as well as additions charges. He is possibly still in the area, but from information received it is believe he has left the immediate area.

Aug 13 – Officers responded to 504 East Fields, trailer E14, concerning a reported burglary. Iinvestigation continuing.

Aug 14 – Officers responded to 204 North Ohio concerning a reported larceny from a vehicle. Investigation continuing.

Oficers responded to 227 West Gay on a reported domestic disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Jarrett R. Major, 27, El Dorado Springs, for two counts of third degree domestic assault. He was released on summons pending court appearance.
