Law enforcement activities
The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 97 requests for assistance this past week, March 28-April 3. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 14, Animal Control 8, Assist Other Agencies 8, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 8, All Other Requests for Assistance 58, Summons 8.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report
On March 28, 2022, officers responded to 116 Winner Road concerning a Larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of US Currency due to an Internet Scam. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 29, 2022 officers responded to 110 South Grand concerning an assault. Suspects were identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 31, 2022, officers responded to 111 West Fields concerning a suspicious person. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Korey L. Wegner, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrants charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Stealing and Trespassing, with a $713.00 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and court appearance.

On March 31, 2022, officers responded to 110 South Grand concerning a peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jesse D. Hale, 34, of Warsaw, for the probable cause of Peace Disturbance. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On March 31, 2022, officers responded to 100 East U.S 54 Highway concerning a Domestic Assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jesse D. Hale, 34, of Warsaw, for the probable cause of Assault 3rd Degree. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On April 2, 2022, officers responded to 122 West Lafayette concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a SIM card. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On April 3, 2022, officers responded to 500 East Fields, trailer 7, concerning a trespassing. The investigation resulted in the arrest of James D. Santerle, 34, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Property Damage and Trespassing. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On April 3, 2022, officers responded to 400 North Main concerning a peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Joseph I. Wyatt, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Peace Disturbance. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On April 3, 2022, officers arrested Kristin L. Houston, 32, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Endangering Welfare of a child with$131.50 bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.
