Law enforcement activities
The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 129 requests for assistance this past week, June 20-26. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 18, Animal Control 13, Assist Other Agencies 21, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 11, All Other Requests for Assistance 65, Summons 10.

Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report
On June 20, 2022 officers responded to 303 South St. James concerning a peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Clinton E. Moore, 45, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Resisting Arrest by Fleeing, Possession of Marijuana under 35 grams and Peace Disturbance. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On June 20, 2022 officers responded to a suspicious person with a firearm on West U.S. 54 Highway. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Tyler J. Pate, 24, of Stockton, for the probable cause of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Under 35 Grams of Marijuana. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm with a $15,000.00 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On June 21, 2022 officers responded to a report of an assault at 901 South Grand. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On June 22, 2022, officers arrested Shawnda R. Pulley, 40, of El Dorado Springs, for Nevada Municipal Court Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear on Trespassing with a $134.00 cash bond. She was released on recognizance pending a court appearance.

On June 23, 2022, officers responded to 723 North Jackson concerning a peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Shelly L. Haynes, 45, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Peace Disturbance. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On June 23, 2022, officers arrested Jonathon H Bilyeu, 34, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging him with Obstructing Justice on the offense of Tampering with a victim, with a$25,000.00 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On June 23, 2022, officers responded to 403 East Fields Terrace concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a power washer. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On June 25, 2022, officers responded to 312 West U.S. 54 Highway concerning Careless and Reckless Driving. This investigation resulted in the arrest of Keith A Daniels, 40, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Driving While Suspended. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.
