The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 58 requests for assistance this past week, Nov. 28-Dec. 4. The requests were as follows:

Ambulance Assists 2, Animal Control 7, Assist Other Agencies 9, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 0, All Other Requests for Assistance 39, Summons 0.

Anyone interested in adopting  animals from the City Pound should contact the animal control officer at 876-2313.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report

On November 30, 2022, officers arrested Vincent D. Kimery, 52, of El Dorado Springs, for a St Clair County Warrant, charging him with Domestic Assault 3rd Degree and Harassment with a $10,000.00 bond. He was transported to St Clair County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On November 30, 2022, officers responded to 204 West Joe Davis concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of copper wire and tow straps. The investigation continues.

On December 1, 2022, officers responded to 204 1⁄2 West Joe Davis concerning a peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Sevren S. Smith, 20, of El Dorado Springs, for El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrants, charging her with traffic Violations with a $305.50 bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.
