In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

March 7 – Arrest: Levi R. Sieleman, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, for failure to appear on the original charge of disturbance of the peace, tampering and failure to appear, with a bond of $201. He was transferred to Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Officers responded to 500 East Fields concerning a reported assault. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Robin A. Lawson, 42, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with peace disturbance, Theodore L. Meche, 38, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with peace disturbance and endangering the welfare of a child, and Sarah E. Woodall, 26, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with peace disturbance and endangering the welfare of a child.  They were released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 305 South Grand concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of chainsaw parts and a trash can. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

March 8, 2017, officers responded to 500 East Fields Street concerning a reported endangering the welfare of a child. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Sarah E. Woodall, 26, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with endangering the welfare of a child. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 608 North Jackson concerning a reported larceny. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

March 9 – Oficers responded to 305 South Grand concerning a reported burglary and an assault.  The investigation revealed the theft of miscellaneous tools. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Mickel E. Hamilton, 46, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant, charging him for passing bad checks with a $750 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

March 11 – Officers responded to 400 South Park concerning a reported assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Makynzie L. Raines, 17, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with assault. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 207 West Fields concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. The investigation revealed the theft of silver 1995 Buick passenger car. The vehicle was recovered. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

March 12 – Officers responded to 1605 South Vernon Street concerning a reported assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Sherry K. Wiser, 49, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with assault. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.
