ST. CLAIR COUNTY SHERIFF

Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made six arrests, took a stealing report and a burglary report during the week of Oct. 28 through Nov. 4, 2019.

Warrant Arrests

Brandon Wood- On Nov. 4, Brandon Wood, 27, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Webster County warrant for a probation violation. This is a no bond warrant.

Erick Lopez- On Nov. 2, Erick Lopez, 19, Kansas City, Kansas, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class E felony delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid. Lopez was placed on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Lopez was driving for a moving traffic violation. While speaking to the occupants of the vehicle, the deputy could smell the odor of marijuana. During a search of the vehicle the deputy located a vapor cartridge that contained tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and a clear bag containing marijuana wax.

Erika Rattanavong- On Nov. 2, Erika Rattanavong, 18, Kansas City, Kansas, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less. Rattanavong was placed on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after the vehicle she was a passenger in was stopped for a moving traffic violation. While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, the deputy could smell the odor of marijuana. The deputy asked the occupants to step out of the vehicle. While getting out of the vehicle, the deputy observed Rattanavong dropping small bags of marijuana on the ground next to her. A further search revealed a glass pipe and a plastic bag containing prescription Xanex bars inside her purse.

Candis Greer- On Nov. 1, Candis Greer, 37, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on a class C misdemeanor failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when roadway was of sufficient width. Bond is set at $250 cash only.

The original charge stems from a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in September of 2018.

Christopher Jackson- On Nov. 1, Christopher Jackson, 40, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Jackson was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy and a detective with the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force performed an investigation. Consent was asked for and given to law enforcement to search the residence. During a search of the residence a syringe was located along with several plastic baggies with a crystal like substance inside. The syringe did field test positive for methamphetamine.

Rhonda Keesee- On Oct. 31, Rhonda Keesee, 57, Collins, was arrested on multiple St. Clair County warrants. The first warrant charges her with a class misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. The second warrant charges her with a class A misdemeanor possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana. The third warrant charges her with a class A misdemeanor domestic assault in the third degree. Total bond is set at $1127.50 cash only.

The first two warrants come from a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in August of 2014.

The third warrant comes from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation in August of 2014.

Stealing in El Dorado Springs

On Oct. 31, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on SW 618 Road in reference to stealing. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Wendy Whitton. Whitton stated she believes her in-home aide has been stealing from her for the past couple of years. Whitton stated she is missing multiple elaborate perfume/crystal bottles, two silver perfume bottles, five Peruvian blanket/rugs, a woven Peruvian table runner, a Mexican headed bowl, two Alpaca blankets, 500 fancy envelopes, a silver serving spoon and a Datavac black vacuum.

Whitton stated the aide may be selling the items over social media. Total estimated loss value not available at tie of this report.

Burglary in Osceola

On Oct. 29, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on NE Highway 82 in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Doug Crowl. Crowl stated that when he arrived at the residence he noticed the back door of the residence had been forced open. Crowl stated when he entered the residence he noticed multiple things missing and some damage to the residence. There were multiple holes in different walls and the ceiling. There was also damage to the kitchen floor and the faucet in the sink was damaged.

A wood burning stove and vent pipe were missing along with a wooden oak china cabinet. The door to the oven was taken along with the four burners.

Persons of interest were named.
