Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made four arrests and took multiple reports during the week of April 27th, 2021 through May 3rd, 2021.

Rhodes, Bobby – On April 30th, Bobby Rhodes, 41, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County Warrant for a Felony charge of DWI – Persistent, and a Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended – 2nd or 3rd Offense. The bond was set at $5,000.00 cash or surety.

Holmberg, Nicholas – On May 3rd, Nicholas Holmberg, 34, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended – 1st Offense. Nicholas was booked and released pending formal charges.

Mullican, Steven – On May 3rd, Steven Mullican, 35, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Henry County Failure to Appear Warrant for the charges of Domestic Assault, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or surety, and Steven was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Loudon, Robert – On May 3rd, Robert Loudon, 37, Overland Park, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a Failure to Appear Warrant out of the State of Kansas, a Felony charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended, a Felony charge of Dwi – Chronic, and a Misdemeanor charge of Possession of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid of 10 Grams or Less.

Stealing in Lowry City

On April 28th, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to NE 301 Road in Lowry City in regards to stealing. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the victim, who stated that someone had stolen his/her yellow in color generator, weighing approximately 200 pounds, out of a small building on the back of his/her property. The generator was valued at $500.00, and a report, including photographs of the scene, was taken.

Property Damage in Appleton City

On April 29th, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to East 2nd Street in Appleton City, in regards to property damage. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the victim, who reported that someone had attempted to pry open the driver’s door on his/her silver in color 2005 Nissan Altima. The victim reported that they had noticed the damage on April 28th, at approximately 11:30 A.M. The damage was estimated to be at $100.00, and a report, including photographs, was taken.

Stolen Firearm in Osceola

On April 30th, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to contact an individual in regards to a stolen firearm. Upon making contact, the victim reported that on April 28th, between the hours of 5:30 A.M and 12:00 P.M, he had parked his red in color Ford F-150 at the Smith Bend boat ramp. At this time, someone stole his Bennali Nova 12-Gauge Shotgun with an Indian Creek Turkey Choke installed on it, a Dewalt ratchet Set, a Smith Hub Assembly Kit, an XL Camo Frog Togs suit, and a large Cabela’s Advantage Timber Leaf Suit. The total value of the items was approximated at $1,000.00.

Burglary in Deepwater

On April 30th, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to NE 1270 Road in Deepwater in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy observed the front door to the residence was damaged, the door jam was damaged, and half of a shoe print on the front door, from someone kicking it open. The victim reported that a Camp Chef 2 burner grill, a window AC unit, a full taxidermy stuffed turkey on a wall mount, and a full taxidermy stuffed turkey on a stand were stolen. The total value of the items stolen was approximated at $978.00, and a report, including photographs, was taken.

Vehicle Tampering in Appleton City

On April 30th, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to West 7th Street in Appleton City, in reference to vehicle tampering. Upon arrival, the deputy advised that during the previous night, someone had put an unknown substance in the fuel tank of his silver in color 2003 Ford F-350. After towing the vehicle to a local mechanic, it was reported that it cost $239.07 to repair the truck. A picture of the altered gasoline, and a copy of the invoice from the mechanic was taken.
