Text Caster

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 4 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 7th, 2021 through December 13th, 2021.

Delcour, Donald- On December 7, 2021, Donald Delcour, 22, Payson, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for 1st Degree Trespassing. The bond was set at $30,000.00 cash or surety.

Kalberloh, Kendrick- On December 8, 2021, Kendrick Kalberloh, 35, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The arrest was made after a deputy conducted a traffic stop after observing Kalberloh make multiple lane violations. K-9 Kormi was called to the scene and conducted an exterior sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the smell of narcotics.

Keith, Michael- On December 9, 2021, Michael Keith, 25, Kiaser, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for Probation Violation. The bond was set at $2,500.00 cash only.

Powell, Susan- On December 11, 2021, Susan Powell, 47, Hughesville, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The arrest was made after a deputy conducted a traffic stop for defective equipment. When the deputy approached Powell he noticed paraphernalia and asked for consent to search the vehicle. Powell consented and narcotics and paraphernalia were located.
