BULLDOGS TAME THE TIGERS – In a game a home Tuesday evening, the El Dorado Springs Lady Bulldogs held off a good Weaubleau Tigers team 5-2 behind the pitching of Tailor Hutsell shown here catching a Weaubleau pop-up. The Bulldogs won the victory with timely hitting and good fielding. The Tigers flashed leather as they caught several long balls hit by the Bulldogs and some smoking hot Bulldog drives to short stop and third base. But the outcome was never really in question as the Bulldogs lead the entire game except for a brief tie at 1 – 1 when the umpires awarded the Tigers a run when their coach appealed and the umps decided that the runner had crossed home plate before the runner attempting a steal was tagged out at second for the third out in the inning.
