ECS golf Coach, Randy Bland, and the varsity golf teams traveled to the two-day State Finals in Joplin, Missouri on April 30 and May 1. The weather was hot and sunny; the two teams, (guys & girls) began early Friday morning at Schifferdecker Golf Course. The “Bermuda Fairway” as locals call it, is a beautiful course; a true gem. Practice definitely paid off for this young group of guys. And, there just might be… a little “inherited talent?” Either way or both, the guys were honored to receive 1st place at the MCSAA State Golf Finals. Congratulations to the ECS golf teams, Coach Randy Bland and ECS A.D., Mrs. Becky LeeMasters. Athletes, you played an outstanding game at State.
