The Lady Bulldogs played host to Ozark Highland Conference opponent Butler Lady Bears on Tuesday night.  The first quarter went back and forth with the Lady Bulldogs taking an early one point lead 12-11.  In the second quarter the Lady Bulldogs were able to outscore the Lady Bears 17 to 9, to take a 29-20 lead into the locker room.  In the third quarter the Lady Bulldogs ramped up the defense and used timely passing to outscore the Lady Bears 16 to 5.  This trend continued through the fourth quarter and Lady Bulldogs were able to secure the victory 62-31.  Leading the Lady Bulldogs in scoring was Macie Mays 24, Reese Schaaf 22 and Tevi Gurley 9.

Friday night, the Lady Bulldogs were at home once again, this time to take on the Lady Bison of Buffalo.  The Lady Bulldogs started out hot from the outside, connecting on 5 three pointers to take an early 15-12 lead.  The second quarter would see both teams trade buckets leading to a first half lead 31-27 for the Lady Bulldogs.  In the third quarter the Lady Bulldogs tightened up the defense and held Buffalo to just 7 points while scoring 13 of their own to take a 44-34 lead into the final quarter. In the fourth quarter the Lady Bulldogs were outscored 12-15, but were able to hold on for the victory.

NOT TO BE BUFFALOED – Last Friday night. the Lady Bulldogs played the Lady Bison on the home court Macie Mays was not intimidated by a taller Buffalo player and drove right past her for two of her 19 points for the win.

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Reese Schaaf 23, Macie Mays 19, Tevi Gurley 9 and Chloe Middleton 5.

The win brought the Lady Bulldogs record to 21-2 and 7-0 in Ozark Highland Conference play.  The Lady Bulldogs will play their final home Monday night against conference opponent the Sherwood Lady Marksmen and they will be on the road for the final regular season game against Nevada, Thursday night.
