Chamber celebrates National Day of Prayer

Several community members and religious leaders joined with the El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, May 4, to pray for national, state. local, military and spiritual leaders a well as first responders.

Prayers were lead by: Chad Daniel – national leaders, Ron Marsh – state leaders, Jack Daniel – local government. Katrina Herschberger – First Responders, John Koch – military and Arlene Talbert – spiritual leaders.

The El Dorado Springs Show choir under the direction of Mrs. Shannon Phelps sang.

The event was held at the ElDo Youth Center with breakfast by Jared and Anna Kouba and Lloyd Corbin.

This year’s National Day of Prayer theme was, “For your great name’s sake! Hear us, forgive us, heal us, oh Lord,” a summation of Daniel 9:19.

A MOMENT IN PRAYER – During the El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce/ Ministerial Alliance sponsored Prayer Breakfast for the National Day of Prayer, John Koch, pastor at Filley Christian Church, offered a prayer for the United States Military.
