On Jan. 20, 2018, officers responded to 1329 South Missouri 32 Highway, Scooters 3, concerning a reported burglary.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of Timothy A. Hocking, 31, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of 2nd Degree Burglary, 1st Degree Property Damage, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Stealing, after a short foot pursuit.

Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging Hocking with 2nd Degree Burglary, 1st Degree Property Damage, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Stealing with a $25,000.00 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance. Additional burglary and stealing charges are expected.

Hocking also had an active Vernon County Felony Warrant, charging him with Forgery, a class C Felony, with no bond and El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of assault, property damage, and stealing.
