Sheldon man killed in hit and run

A hit and run driver killed Billy J. Willis, 60, Sheldon, at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, on Hwy. DD 10 miles southeast of Nevada who was riding a bicycle. According to the report by Cpl. Baird of the Highway Patrol, the mishap occurred when the unknown driver struck Mr. Willis in the rear knocking his bicycle into a ditch then left the scene.

The unknown driver was in an unknown year grey Nissan.
