Simrell, McIntire engaged

Julia Rose Simrell of Walker and Jason Daniel McIntire of Louisburg, are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Merle and Orpha Simrell of Walker. She is a 2008 homeschool graduate who has worked in elder care and currently resides on her family farm.

The prospective groom is the son of Matt and Rachael McIntire of Bolivar. He is a 2005 homeschool graduate who formerly worked in marketing and is now an owner in a commercial lighting supply company.

After a wedding in May, the couple plans a honeymoon trip to Virginia. They will make their home near Louisburg.
