Swopes family holds reunion

The families of the late Melvin T. and Goldie M. Norris Swopes gathered June 23, 2019, at the Circle S Feed Store with 24 members present. This is the 31st year of gathering together once a year.

Ron Swopes asked the blessing before our great meal. It was a very rainy day. We were so thankful for each one who made it. Sorry the rest were not able to attend. They were all in our prayers and thoughts, Hopefully next year.

There was a lot of visiting and picture taking in the afternoon.

Allen; form Appleton City – Leroy and Dorotha (Hillsman) Swopes, Dennis and Ellen (Swopes) Dunham; from Springfield – Raymond and Clara Mae (Swopes) Harold; from Straford – Dwight and Eileen Swopes; form El Dorado Springs – Mike and Sheryl Swopes, Rick Swopes, Ron Swopes, Melvin (Vess) Swopes, Darl Barnett and June (Swopes) Coleman.
