Leader Sheryl Ann opened the meeting and Kay S. led us in singing “I Won’t Eat That Today”.

Six members wore the clothes they used to wear before coming to TOPS. All had very baggy clothes. They were: Steve he has lost 55 lbs. since starting TOPS, Juanita, she has lost 55 lbs. as well, Linda H. she had lost 50 lbs. but gained back some and is almost back to her goal. Congratulations to all and hope to see more baggy clothes next time.

We sang Happy Birthday to Jan T.

Marie won the right to draw for the marble but did not get the winning one.

Sheryl had everyone draw a name. She is asking us to start a “secret Pal or TOPS pal”. She asked each member make an effort to contact the person they drew by email, card, phone call. Gifts are not required. Let’s help make this holiday season a little brighter for our TOPS friends. We will do this though the month of January.

Warren reported on the contest. The TOPS portion has Angie in the lead with Warren in 2nd place and Sheryl in 3rd. The TOPS portion has Steve in first place and Juanita in 2nd.

Sheryl asked how many veterans we have in our chapter. There are three, Melissa, Warren and Steve.

Reminder: KOPS meeting Saturday, Nov. 4, in Springfield.

Sheryl asked how many want to order the Real Life, Real People Books? They will cost approximately $18.50 each. We will take a final count next week.
