Mt. Zion Home Bible study held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. to study the Bible, all are welcome to join us.

Mt. Zion Club will meet Aug. 15, in the Marge Zink home to celebrate the club’s 95th birthday at 1 p.m.

Mt. Zion area appreciated the rain Saturday and the cooler temperature. Garden is still producing, almost time to plant the fall garden.

Sorry to learn of the fire over at Margie Siegismund farm where a large machine shed, full of machinery, burned losing all the equipment.

Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home have been Kent Crawford, Mike and Stacy Griffith; Howard is almost finished making hay.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm Belle is in trouble, the little calves came back home as big calves and Belle wanted to play chase. Robin said “NO Belle”; Belle thoughts were life not fair that was fun.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey have been busy feeding humming birds, there are lots of them.

Julia and John have both been busy keeping doctor’s appointments and getting them mixed up. John has run his bus route, Julia is getting run through the wringer trying to get her stable.
