Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, held her steak dinner on Sunday, April 22. She said had a really good crowd. She said she will have me put in my news about what Madalyn’s Kitchen will do in May.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman went to Lee’s Summit on Saturday, April 21, with the Grace United Methodist Church from El Dorado Springs. They went to the Grace United Methodist at Lee’s Summit. The Grace United Methodist from Oak Grove was there. They said there were around 130 present. They had worship service at 10 a.m., they talked about how to keep a church growing, had lunch at noon then headed for home.

The area had a much needed rain on Sunday, April 22, it rained almost all day.

Rosie Taylor was a dinner guest in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman Sunday, April 22.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, April 22. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon was taken from Nehemiah 4:1-11.

Kylie Alexander, who is the daughter of Bill and Alison Alexander and the granddaughter of Jerry and Karen Coy, all of Harwood, is headed to Nationals to be held at Baltimore at the end of June. Kylie is a member of the Missouri Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda chapter from Northeast Vernon County School at Walker. She is a Freshman. Kylie placed third in State in Word Processing. State was held at Springfield during the week of April 6.
