Morning message Rockville United Methodist Church by pastor Larry Sorrels was titled “Is Your God to Small?” taken from I John 13:34-35.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. to study the Bible with nine in attendance; all are welcome to join us.

James and Karen Rosbrugh visited Tom and Beverly Pelkey. Tom has been busy mowing grass; Beverly has been buy keeping humming bird food prepared.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm, Belle has learned how to keep cool when Robin gives the chicken fresh cool water. Belle steps into the pan with all four paws and drinks her fill; almost as good as a popsicle since you only get a popsicle for special treats.

Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home have been Mitchel and Tucker Crawford; Brenda Peterson was a weekend overnight guest.

Mt. Zion area was thankful for the rain; there has been lots of preserving of corn, cucumbers, blackberries and hay. My door knob garden has been doing very good thanks to my neighbors.

Sunday visitors in the Marge Zink, Stacy and Mike Griffith home were Betty Teal of Springfield, Brenda Peterson of Richmond, and Howard and Dixie Peterson.

Julia Snethen returned home on Friday afternoon after spending the week in the hospital in Bolivar. John kept busy doing his bus route and visiting Julia in the hospital. He was very happy to get her home, maybe she will stay out longer this time.
