Madalyn Crocker went with her son and family, Galvin, Mandy, Caden and Caleb Crocker, to Pizza Hut at El Dorado Springs and to the movie theatre in Nevada, Wednesday, July 26. They were celebrating the 8th birthday of Caden, which was that day. Madalyn’s great-niece, Shay Linsenmayer, of El Dorado Springs went with them.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and a friend, Rosie Taylor, had dinner at Cedar House Grill at El Dorado Springs Sunday, July 30.

Chris and Madalyn Crocker attended the Vacation Bible School program at the Schell City Baptist Church Sunday evening, July 30. Their grandsons, Caden and Caleb Crocker, were in the program.

The farmers in the Harwood – Schell City area received a much needed rain Thursday morning, July 27.

I talked to Connie Locke, who is living back in Nevada, Sunday evening, July 30. She is happy to be back in the area. She retired from being a pastor in the United Methodist Churches for several years. She was a pastor at the Schell City Church for nine years until the church closed in June 2016. She was pastor at Marionville Church for a year before she retired in June 2017.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, July 30. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon came from Galatians 1:1-5 and Galatians 2:19-20.

Jon Caudle Sr., pastor of the Harwood Baptist Church and his wife, Judith, attended the Fifths Sunday service Sunday evening, July 30, at the Pine Street Baptist Church at Nevada. Calvary and Cornerstone Baptist Churches at Nevada, took part in the service.
