Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, said that she does not know at this time is she will be closing in July and if she is, she will put it in my news.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, came Tuesday, July 3, and took his mother, Jewell Ellerman, to Joplin to see the doctor and to get her schedule for hip surgery on Monday, July 16, at Joplin.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, July 8. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon “Give My Liberty” was taken from Galatians 5:1-4.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman went to Fried Chicken Friday at the El Dorado Springs Senior Center Friday, July 6. You can eat for $4 if you are 60 and older. It is open Monday through Friday.

Alison and Kaylie Alexander returned home Monday, July 2, after going to Baltimore June 28 for a business class that she took at Northeast Vernon County High School at Walker. Kaylie got third place at District so she got to go to Nationals at Baltimore. She did not place at Nationals but her mother and she enjoyed it. While they were there they went to Washington.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and a friend, Rosie Taylor, had dinner at Pizza Hut in El Dorado Springs Sunday, July 8.

The area got some much needed rain this past week but they still need more.
