Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor Nick Van Dam was entitled, “Whose Church are we” from l Corinthians 1: 10-11.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study held in the home of Tom and Beverly Pelkey each Tuesday at 7 p.m. to study the Bible had nine in attendance.

Mt. Zion Club met in the Marge Zink home Wednesday Jan. 18, with 14 ladies present to enjoy an afternoon of fellowship bingo and snacks.

Mt. Zion area is thankful for the rain, although I dislike the mud; several neighbors are entertaining the flu or flu like symtoms.

At the Robin Siegismund’s farm, Robin and Belle are waiting for the birth of their kids. Belle thinks gathering eggs is boring, not allow to herd chickens like goat kids. Belle looking forward to summer popsicle treats, they are her favorite.

Have you noticed that your purse is heavy? Take time to see why, my friend Mary complained to herself long enough that she took time to dump her purse and you’ll never guess what was making her purse heavy; a pair of pliers. We don’t really don’t know how they got there but we have an idea.

If anyone is bored, lonely or needs something to do, on Tuesday at the Lowry City Branch of the St Clair County Library, people gather to play a game called Bunco. It’s lots of fun, you would work both body and mind. There is lots of other fun activities going on at the Library Lowry City Branch and Osceola Branch, take time to check it out.

John and Julia Snethen attended the Clinton Chapter #73 meeting on Monday evening, then on Wednesday Julia attended club. Son, Ron Thompson, hit a deer going to work on Wednesday morning, did a little damage to his truck. Thursday, Julia made a trip to Osceola to the OATS Meeting and on her way she had an accident, did very little damage to her car. She went by the sheriff’s department and reported it and they told her that she didn’t have to report that type of accident but Julia wanted to be on the safe side for her insurance.
