Mt. Zion Bible study met in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home each Tuesday at 7 p.m. with nine in attendance.
Sympathy to the Mark Crayton family, his parents are Donnie and Charlene Crayton.
Memorial service was held Oct 13, at Kidd’s Chapel Cemetery for Josephine Peterson, sister-in-law of Marge Zink and Howard and Dixie Peterson.
Tom and Beverly Pelkey enjoyed a few days vacation in Branson.
The Mt. Zion area is enjoying the cooler weather and the rain.
Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson have been Marge Zink, Mitchel Crawford and Stacy and Mike Griffith.
Larry and Jacque Hale from Le Compton, KS, visited in the Marge Zink and Stacy and Mike Griffith homes Sunday. Sheri Suster and Dixie and Howard Peterson were visitors as well.
Julia Snethen took Mary Lee Seymour, of Clinton, with her to Grand Chapter in Jefferson City. They spent four days in Jefferson City returning home on Thursday afternoon. John spent the week running his OATS Bus route and babysitting the dogs. A Sunday afternoon visitor in the Snethen home was Ron Thompson.
