Learn to background cattle Feb. 27

Cedar County MU Extension Center and Council will put on the stocker or backgrounder cattle operation production workshop beginning at 6 p.m. Feb. 27 in  the Cedar County Library, 717 East Street, Stockton,. The presenters will be Cedar County MU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist Patrick Davis and Dallas County MU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist Andy McCorkill.     

Topics covered during the workshop related to the stocker or backgrounder cattle operation are as follows:

• Nutrition

• Health

• Marketing   

Cost of the workshop is $15 per person.
