Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (MO-04) praised the House’s passage of the final National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for 2018, which passed the House by a vote of 356-70. This bill would authorize full funding for the Fort Leonard Wood Hospital, a new blood processing center at the Hospital, critical B-2 modernization at Whiteman Air Force and 24 additional F-18 Super Hornets.

“As a representative elected by the people of Missouri’s fourth district, it’s my job to ensure our men and women in uniform have the resources they need. This year’s NDAA takes a crucial step toward reversing our severe readiness crisis and gives our troops a much-deserved pay raise. I’m proud to support this bipartisan bill that provides for the common defense of our great country and wards off future threats to our security.”
