Lieutenant Governor Mike Parson is encouraging all Missourians to attend the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia August 10-20 in Sedalia. The State Fair began in 1901, and highlights Missouri’s agriculture industry along with Missouri companies and products. It plays host to carnival rides, dozens of agriculture exhibits, and quality entertainment shows, which this year include Alan Jackson, Little Big Town and The Charlie Daniels Band.

“The Missouri State Fair plays a critical role in promoting agriculture and showcasing the best of our great state,” said Lieutenant Governor Mike Parson. “I have been a longtime advocate for the State Fair which draws over 350,000 visitors each year. I highly encourage all Missourians to join us in Sedalia to take part in quality entertainment, fine Missouri products, and learn more about our number one agriculture industry,” Lieutenant Governor Parson said.
