DAELEN SETS RECORD – Bulldog Cross Country Runner Daelen Ackley didn’t just take first at the State Cross Country meet Saturday, he set a new record time doing it. One other runner battled him for the first two miles, then Daelen pulled away in the 3rd mile to win the individual state championship with a new record time of 15.39. He is the son of Earl and Sylvia Ackley.
