CONCRETE ROLLS WHILE SITTING STILL – Lynn M. Smith, 70, El Dorado Springs, suffered injuries listed as moderate when the 1987 Ford LT 9000 concrete truck rolled over while sitting still with him at the wheel at 9:42 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, on Hwy. 82 at mile north of El Dorado Springs. He was transported by private vehicle to Nevada Regional Medical Center. The official report says, “Crash occurred as vehicle was attempting to get off an embankment and overturned.” An eye witness, Steve Woody, and Craig Johnson, who lives nearby, used Johnson’s tractor to free Smith’s foot from the wreckage.
