The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stockton Lake and Cedar County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will accept applications now through March 20 for the 6th annual Youth Managed Turkey Hunt.

Youth ages 6-15 can able to apply for one of 10 spots available in the youth turkey season hunt scheduled for April 7-8. Participation in a mandatory safety meeting will be required at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Stockton Project Office. The hunt will be held in the Hawker Point, Orleans Trail, Crabtree Cove and Masters Parks. The public should plan for these Parks to be partially or fully shut down the weekend of the hunt.
