Fern LeJune Delk, age 91, of El Dorado Springs, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018. She was born on May 3, 1927, the daughter of Roy and Savola Morrow.

On Oct. 27, 1945, she was married to Lawrence E. Delk. To this union two sons were born: Donald G. Delk and Michael L. Delk.

Fern was a loving mother and grandmother. She retired from Dunbrooke in 1989. After this she and her husband Lawrence traveled for a time. She loved her Lord very much and always prayed for her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Morrow; mother, Salvola Morrow; husband, Lawrence Delk; son, Donald Delk; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Delk; and three grandsons – Cody, Jacob and Kaden.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Mary Kay Delk, of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren – Tracy Ennis of El Dorado Springs, Mike Knoth of Olathe, KS, Rick Delk of El Dorado Springs, Randy Delk of Kansas City, Christy Delk of Mountain Home, AR, Jama Laplaunt of Hardy, AR, Kelly Delk of El Dorado Springs, Amanda Watkins of Sedalia,, and Ashley Profitt of Eldora, IA; 27 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren.

Services began at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, in the El Dorado Springs Church of God (Holiness), with Rev. Joe Trussell and Rev. Brent Bland officiating. Burial followed in Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were: Corey Meyer, Zach Ennis, Ricky Delk, Randall Bruce, Shawn Fishburn, and Brett Entriken. Honorary pallbearers were: Calab Ennis, Skyler Fishburn, Christopher Fishburn, Tim Nordby, Nick Nordby, Dakota Fannin, Nathan Fannin, Trevor B. Watkins and Treyton Watkins.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the El Dorado Christian School and left at the funeral home.
