Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, Oct. 28, were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Jeanie O’Brien, Ruth Ijams, John and Frances Lewis, Verla Murrell and Rita Miller.
Several from the area attended funeral services for Cecil Prough at the Christian Church at Schell City with burial at the Green Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Hoagland Funeral Home Tuesday, Oct. 23.
Church service was held at the Schell City United Methodist Church Sunday, Oct. 28. Pastor Connie Locke’s sermon “What Did People Say You Would Be?” was taken from Hebrews 7:23-28 and Mark 10:46-52. Sunday School was held before church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson “Philip and The Ethiopian Eunuch” taken from Acts 8:26-39. Merry White of Nevada was welcomed as their new piano player for the church service.
Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Oct. 28. Brother Cliff Bennett’s sermon “Thank God” was taken from Psalm 107:1-43. The church held a wiener roast and hayride Saturday evening, Oct. 27. There were several attending.
