EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

July 6, 2011, officers responded to the 600 block of South Jackson concerning a reported sexual assault of a juvenile. DNA evidence was collected and sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Laboratory. On Oct 25, 2012, the department received information from the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS) which identified Joseph Eric Resz II. Nov 13, 2012, officers arrested Joseph E. Resz, II, 18, El Dorado Springs, charging him with three counts of forcible sodomy and first degree assault with a cash or surety bond of $300,000. He was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and a court appearance.

Nov 6 – officers responded to 135 West Spring concerning an attempt to pass a forged document. Investigation continued. Nov 16, officers arrested Trenda R. Loomis, 34, El Dorado Springs, charging her with forgery with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

Nov 12 – Officer responded to a reported larceny at 312 West US 54 Hwy. Investigation revealed the theft of a woman’s purse and small, blue digital camera. The purse was later returned to the owner; the camera is still missing. Officers issued Trenda R. Loomis, 34, El Dorado Springs, a summons charging her with larceny. She was released on summons.

Officer responded to a reported larceny at 501 South Summer. Suspects have been identified. Investigation continuing.

Nov 13 – Officers responded to a reported assault at 805 North Jackson. A suspect has been identified. Investigation continuing.

Nov 14 – Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 511 South Main. A suspect has been identified. Investigation continuing.

Officer responded to a reported theft from a motor vehicle at 1200 South Main. Investigation revealed the theft of a small, brown wallet and all of its contents including approximately $35 in cash. Investigation continuing.

Nov 16 – Arrests: Jarret R. Major, 23, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County probation and parole violation warrant charging him with second degree burglary with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Trenda R. Loomis, 35, El Dorado Springs, charging her with DWS. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to a reported peace disturbance at 305 West Broadway. Investigation resulted in the arrests of Felisha M. Bartosh, 23, and William R. Grenko, 49, both of El Dorado Springs, charging them with peace disturbance. Both were released on summonses pending court appearances.

Nov 17 – Officers responded to a reported assault at 1301 East Industrial Pkwy. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Tina R. Birks, 30, El Dorado Springs, charging her with third degree assault on a law enforcement officer and third degree assault. She was released on summonses pending court appearance.

Officer responded to a reported larceny at 115 West Broadway. Investigation revealed the theft of a Lennox Air-Conditioning condenser. Investigation continuing.

On November 17, 2012, officers responded to a reported burglary at 407 East Broadway Street. During their investigation, officers located a broken window leading into the kitchen of the residence. A report was taken and investigation continuing.
