It’s a Sweet Christmas at Herriman Chapel

Beginning the Sunday after Thanksgiving, Pastor Woods began preaching messages on Sunday mornings at Herriman Chapel in anticipation of Christmas. Along with his sermon, Pastor Woods has shared object lessons with the children in the middle of our worship service.

On Nov. 25, we heard a little poem about how the candy cane can remind us of Jesus. On Dec. 2, Pastor Woods brought two chocolate chip cookies to church – a small cookie to represent our love for others and a giant cookie to represent God’s love for the whole world. Then we each got a piece of the giant cookie to eat.

For this coming Sunday, we can expect another sweet treat – a Christmas favorite baked by one of the ladies in our church. Come join us to find out which treat it will be.
