TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in the United Methodist Church, 201 E Broadway on Thursday, Oct. 25, for their weekly weigh-in and meeting.

Leader Sheryl Ann called our meeting to order and Kay led us in singing “It’s In Our Hands.” We said our TOPS and KOPS pledges.

Marilyn led us in a series of exercises.

Sheryl reported 23 weighed in today. The chapter had a net gain of 12.2 lbs. The weeks best loser was Margie with a loss of 1.2 lbs. Congratulations Margie.

Sheryl raffled off some of the things our chapter won at Fall Rally.

Steve won a pen and note pad, Robbie won a license plate holder, Marilyn won a handmade rug, Jean won a basket, Warren won a selfie stick, Marie won a coffee cup and Margie won a Halloween bag.

Marble game: Sue C won the chance to draw for the marble but did not get the winning one. The pot was at $97.50 and will be more next week.

Contest: Warren awarded Marilyn’s team their winnings, each member won $5.75. Juanita’s team sang to the winning team.

New contest: The new contest starts with next week’s weigh-in. There is still time to join in this one. The entry fee is $1. Name of the game is Looser Lotto and all you have to do is lose weight to get your name on a lotto square.

Judy B made some really cute Christmas decorations. She has a lot of things she will donate if the chapter wants to get together and make Christmas trees, Snowman Wreaths and other things to sell. She is donating one of the Christmas trees she made for our chapter to raffle off.

After some discussion Warren suggested this be tabled till next week.

Christmas Parade: LJ and Bill are driving their car in the Christmas Parade. It was suggested our chapter King and Queen ride in the car with LJ and the rest of the chapter walk alongside the car possibly carrying a banner. Carol made motion we walk in the parade with the King and Queen in the car, Jan 2nd and motion carried.

Jean will print the entry form and bring it in next week.
