Judy Gwyn of The Woodlands, TX, came late Monday, Feb. 4, to spend some time with her Aunt, Frances Lewis, and take care of some business. She left for home on Saturday morning, Feb. 9.
Connie Locke was a dinner guest in the home of her parents, Ben and Gloria Locke, at Nevada Monday, Feb. 4.
Rozella Gammon visited her sister, Bonnie Short, at Nevada Monday, Feb. 4. She visited with Floyd Smith.
Connie Locke and Helen Ellerman went to Kansas City Tuesday, Feb. 5, to visit Ruth Ijams at the Bishop-Spencer Rehab. Ruth came home on Friday, Feb. 8. Her daughter, Jeanie O’Brien, went after her.
Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, Feb. 10, were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Jeanie O’Brien, Ruth Ijams, Frances Lewis, Gary Joe Bunn and Gayle Grinder.
Church service was held at the Schell City Untied Methodist Church Sunday, Feb. 10. Pastor Connie Locke’s sermon “When Our Faces Shine” was taken from II Corinthians 3:12 and 4:2 and Luke 9:28-43. Sunday School was held before church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson “Full Life in Christ” taken from Colossians 2:6-15.
Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Feb. 10. They had a guest speaker as their pastor, Cliff Bennett, was on vacation.
