In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On February 5, 2019, officers responded to 100 East US 54 Highway, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny (shoplifting). The investigation revealed the theft of two pieces of pizza. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On February 5, 2019, officers responded to 701 East Marshall concerning a report of a stolen go cart. The go cart was later recovered and returned to the owner. A report was taken, suspects have been identified, and the investigation continues.

On February 6, 2019, officers responded to 1301 East Industrial Parkway, Southwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center, concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On February 7, 2019, officers arrested Cory D Martin, 43, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Sexual Misconduct First Degree. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On February 9, 2019, officers arrested Daniel C. Halverson, 26, of Milo, MO, for a Vernon County Felony Warrant, charging him with Possession of a Controlled Substance with a bond of $5,000.00. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On February 9, 2019, officers responded to 609 South Main concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a white, 20lb propane tank to a gas grill. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On February 9, 2019, officers responded to 312 West US 54 Highway, Wood’s Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny (shoplifting). A report taken and the investigation continues.

On February 11, 2019, officers responded to 212 West Walnut concerning reported tampering with city utilities. The investigation revealed an unauthorized connection with City Water Service. A suspect was identified and a summons was issued.

On February 13, 2019, officers arrested Tasha F. Storadant, 21, for a Jefferson County Warrant, charging her with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with a bond of $1,000.00.  She was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.

On February 13, 2019, officers arrested Jessica D. Beard, 27, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear, on the original charges of Driving While Suspended and No Insurance, with a bond of $502.00, and a Cedar County Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Family Offense-Failure to Pay Child Support, with a $500.00 cash bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On February 13, 2019, officers responded to 312 West US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, in reference to a larceny/shoplifting. A report was taken and the investigation continues

On February 14, 2019, officers responded to 419 West Industrial Drive, Harleman Global, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of scrap metal. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On February 16, 2019, officers arrested Jacob J. Patalsky, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Fugitive from Justice concerning a Bourbon County Kansas Felony Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charges of possession of a Controlled Substance, Interference with Law Enforcement, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, with a bond of $1,500.00.

On February 17, 2019, officers arrested Andrew G. Vessey, 32, of El Dorado Springs, for an  El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Driving While Revoked, with a $475.50 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On February 17, 2019, officers responded to 404 South Ohio concerning a reported assault. During the investigation, officers arrested Rita C. Whittle, 31, of El Dorado Springs for a Camden County Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear, on the original charges of Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle and Operate a Motor Vehicle without Maintaining Financial Responsiblity-1st Offense, with a $300.00 cash bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On February 17, 2019 at approximately 2308 hours, officers responded to 400 East Hospital Road, Community Spring Nursing Home, concerning a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle and assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Nikola Del Mitchell, 28, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Burglary 1st degree, Assault 3rd Degree on Special Victim, Assault 4th Degree, Resisting Arrest and Stealing. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges.

On February 21, 2109, officers arrested Jonathan A. Halcon, 21, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Receiving Stolen Property, to be held for 48 hours with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On February 21, 2019, officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle, Apartment 15, concerning a reported domestic assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On February 21, 2019, officers responded to 1111 South Forest concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed that sometime between 9:00 a.m. on February 16, 2019, and 4:00 p.m. on February 21, 2019, someone broke into a storage building taking numerous items, including, but not limited to: Numerous knives, hand drills in cases, fishing reels, Craftsman half inch sockets, several deer, duck and turkey calls, a predator call, arrow heads, 12 gauge shotgun shells and other ammunition. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On February 21, 2019, officers responded to 116 Winner Road concerning a reported larceny. Juvenile suspects have been identified and referred to the Juvenile Office.

On February 22, 2019, officers arrested Brandee G. Lawson, 41, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree, with a bond of $2,000.00. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On February 23, 2019, officers responded to 104 Winner Road concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed that sometime between 5:00 p.m. on February 22, 2019, and 10:10 p.m. on February 23, 2019, someone broke into the detached garage taking numerous tools which include a 5”, Dewalt Random Orbital Sander kit, a Dewalt 20V, four tool combo set, a Dewalt 10 piece drill bit set, a Dewalt 35 piece flex torque set, a Dewalt 21 piece titanium drill bit set, five reciprocating saw blades in various sizes, and a Dewalt Reciprocating Saw. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On February 24, 2019, officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle, Apartment 16, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a black, Samsung Galaxy J3, Luna Pro, cellular phone in a white and blue case. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 22, 2019, officers responded to 403 South Park concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a John Deere peddle tractor and wagon. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On January 24, 2019, officers arrested Angela K. Barlow, 39, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear, on the original charges of Driving While Revoked and Shoplifting, with a bond of $1,037.00. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On 01/25/2019, officers responded to 500 East Fields, Lot 15, concerning theft of city utilities. The investigation revealed the theft of City Electric Services. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 25, 2019, officers responded to 611South Grand concerning a reported assault. A juvenile suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 25, 2019, officers responded to 511 South Park concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a Rock Island Armory, six round, 38 Revolver. Suspects have been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 26, 2019, officers responded to 700 South Park, Apartment 3, concerning a reported domestic assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Francis J. Peckman, 37, charging him with Domestic Assault in the Second Degree. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On January 27, 2019, officers arrested Paul D. Coleman, 48, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on multiple Dog Ordinance Violations, with a bond of $1,200.50. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On January 27, 2019, officers responded to 209 North St. James concerning a reported domestic assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.
