Ashley Nicole Johnson, 21, was born in
El Dorado Springs on April 11, 1991, to Jeffrey Lynn Johnson and Rhonda Renee Johnson.
She graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 2009. Ashley planned to go to school to be an Occupational Therapist. She worked at Summer Fresh Supermarket but in her spare time she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Ashley was full of mischievous thoughts that were sometimes put into action when in the company of three of her most loyal friends – Chasdity, Janell, and Grace. As teenagers they loved sneaking out of Grandma’s house to go the Park downtown to meet more friends, and prank calling unsuspected victims in the middle of the night. Her mom and dad would like to apologize to the victims to those pranks.
Ashley loved having fun and living everyday as if it were her last. On March 30, 2012, she gave birth to her son, Asher Blayze Courtney. She was a wonderful mother and loved being with her son.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Charley Johnson, and her maternal grandfather, “Sonny” Brightwell.
She is survived by her dad, Jeffrey Johnson; mother, Rhonda Johnson; son, Asher Courtney; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lois Johnson; maternal grandmother, Fern Brightwell-Prince; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
