In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On June 4, 2019, officers arrested Kenneth C. Cerny, 45, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Contempt of Court. A Municipal Court Bench Warrant was issued for a 5 day hold. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail.

On June 5, 2019, officers arrested Amber N. Kindred, 41, of Collins, MO, for Humansville Municipal Warrants charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charge of a Motor Vehicle Equipment Violation, with a $110.00 cash bond, and Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Revoked, with a $150.00 cash bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On June 5, 2019, officers arrested Matthew R. Garry, 45, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on Four Counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less, of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid, with no bond, a Cedar County Felony Probation Violation Warrant charging him with Receiving Stolen Property with no bond, and a Cedar County Felony Probation Violation Warrant charging him with Distribution of a Controlled Substance Near Public Housing or Other Governmental Assisted Housing,with no bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On June 6, 2019, officers responded to the 100 Block of West Poplar concerning a report of a suspicious vehicle. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Brandon D. Dunn, 20, of Nevada, MO, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Failure to Yield and Failure to Appear, with a $175.50 cash bond, and, a Christian County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on Four Counts of Passing Bad Checks, with a $500.00 cash bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On June 6, 2019, officers responded to 315 East Fields, Apartment D, concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. The investigation revealed the theft of a silver, 2006, Jeep Liberty. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On June 7, 2019, officers responded to the 400 Block of US 54 Highway concerning a report of an intoxicated driver. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Brandon D. Jennings, 31, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Driving While Intoxicated and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On June 8, 2019, officers responded to 302-A South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a Kansas City Chiefs wrap/shaw, a black Sears clock, a black HTC Zeta cell phone, and a blue, two and a half gallon gas can, full of gas. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.
