EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

April 1- Officers served Garrett M. Ecker, 29, El Dorado Springs, with a Cedar County felony warrant charging him with second degree domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon with a cash only bond of $25,000 and the condition that he has no contact with the victim or witness. He was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Officers responded to a reported burglary and property damage at 203 North Ohio. Investigation revealed the theft of a white, XBOX 360, three XBOX video games, a silver DVD Player, numerous DVD’s and a yellow and black duffle bag and damage to a window screen. Investigation continuing.

Officers responded to a reported disturbance at 121 West Marshall. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Misty M. Rock, 32, El Dorado Springs, charging her with peace disturbance. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

April 3 – Arrests: Kara L. Geier, 27, El Dorado Springs, on an active Vernon County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of exceeded posted speed limit with a cash only bond of $77. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

Melinda S. Ringstrom, 27, Nevada, on an active Nevada Municipal Court warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of no proof of Insurance with a cash only bond of $320.She was extradited to the Nevada Police Department pending bond and court appearance.

Patricia J. Perkins, 27, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of driving while revoked with a cash only bond of $500, an active Nevada Municipal Court warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of driving while suspended with a cash only bond of $465 and driving while revoked. She was extradited to the Nevada Police Department pending bond and court appearance. Officers also arrested Justen M. McCarter, 28, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of driving while revoked with a cash or surety bond of $287.50 and driving while revoked. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Jacob A. Bowman, 18, Nevada, on an active Polk County warrant charging him with speeding with a cash only bond of $150. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Tony G. Ford, 44, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County felony warrant charging him with non-support with a cash only bond of $23,000 and an active Nevada Municipal Court warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of no proof of insurance with a cash only bond of $748. He was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Melissa J. Poe, 46, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of a traffic offense with a cash only bond of $1,000. She was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

April, 4 – Arrests: Jarret R. Major, 23, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging him probation violation on the original charge of second degree burglary with a cash or surety bond of $10,000. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Jessie W. Dunn, 18, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging him with failure to appear per court order with a cash or surety bond of $115. He signed an appearance, guilty plea waiver and was released on bond.

David Chiles, 44, El Dorado Springs, charging him with driving while Suspended. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to a reported larceny at 607 South Jackson. Investigation revealed the theft of a Mongoose Rebel bicycle. Investigation continuing. Anyone with information concerning this incident is encouraged to call the El Dorado Springs Police Department at 417-876-TIPS.

Officers responded to a reported larceny at 109 West Lafayette. Investigation revealed the theft of numerous prescription medications. Investigation continuing.

April 6 – Officers responded to a reported assault at 311 East Spring. A suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

Officers responded to a reported larceny at 100 East US 54 Hwy., Casey’s General Store. Investigation revealed an unknown subject, driving a silver, four door sedan, left without paying for $10 in gasoline. Investigation continuing.

April 7 – Arrest: Michaela S. Coleman, 19, Stockton, on an active Bolivar Police Department warrant charging her with no insurance with a cash only bond of $170. She was released on bond pending court appearance.
