Roscoe to host Revival April 28-May 1

Brother Greg Hafer, executive vice-president of Ozark Christian College (OCC), will serve as the evangelist at the upcoming Roscoe Christian Church revival. The five-service revival will begin Sunday morning, April 28, and continue through Wednesday evening, May 1.

Sunday services will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Weeknight services will begin at 7 p.m.

Special music is scheduled for each evening. Jack Wallace and Friends will perform on Sunday, April 28. “Three for One” will provide music during the Monday, April 29 service, while Jim and Marti Suiter will be featured on Tuesday, April 30. Bob Cook and Family will perform during the Wednesday, May 1, service.

Bro. Hafer has served OCC in varying capacities since 1990. In 1992, he was named the Dean of Men, a position he held until 1998. During that period of time Hafer was the Director of Student Development. From 1998 until 2000, he served as a full-time faculty member teaching Communications. In 2000, he was promoted to acting president, followed by a four-year stint as the school’s vice-president. Hafer was promoted to the office of executive vice-president in 2005.

Hafer began serving as a preacher in Diamond in 1972. He was a preacher at churches in Washington; Margate, FL; and Wakefield, NE from 1975 until moving to OCC in 1990. Bro. Hafer has a Bachelor of Biblical Literature degree from Ozark Christian College. He earned a Master of Arts in Communication at Missouri State University.

Hafer and his wife, Deb, have three sons, three daughters-in-law and eight grandchildren.
