EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

April 22- Officers responded to a reported larceny at 100 East 54 Hwy, Casey’s General Store. Investigation revealed that a white male, driving a black Dodge Charger left without paying for $38.36, in fuel. Investigation continuing.

April 23 – Officers responded to a reported larceny at 408 South Park. Investigation revealed the theft of two concrete cinder blocks. Investigation continuing.

Arrest: Jasson L. Hylton, 36, Stockton, on an active Polk County felony warrant charging him with no valid operator’s license (third offense) with a cash only bond of $500 and an active Polk County misdemeanor warrant charging him with no seatbelt with a cash only bond of $50. He was extradited to the Polk County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

April 24 – Officers responded to a reported burglary at 800 North Main, Apt 18. Investigation revealed the theft of $400 in cash. Investigation continuing.

Arrests: Tyler D. Owens, 19, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County felony warrant charging him with larceny with a cash or surety bond of $7,500. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Cammy D. Bailey, 39, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County felony warrant charging her with probation violation on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance with a cash or surety bond of $10,000. She was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Officers issued Rachel D. Miller, 34, El Dorado Springs, summonses to appear in court to answer for DWS and failure to stop at a stop signal as the result of a traffic stop.

April 25 – Officers responded to a reported larceny at 508 South Grand. Investigation revealed the theft of a $50 Straight Talk Phone Card, several silver quarters, dimes and nickels dated from 1940-1960, three $20 bills dated from 1940-1950 (the one dated 1950 had “will pay to bearer on demand” printed on it, four silver certificates and $1 bills, a 1951 half dollar (later recovered), five silver quarters, three quarters and one Canadian quarter (all later recovered), seven silver dimes (later recovered) and a buffalo nickel (later recovered). Arrest: Ashton J. Finley, 23, El Dorado Springs, on an active Vernon County misdemeanor warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of no seat belt with a cash only bond of $10. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

April 26 – Officers responded to a reported burglary at 114 West Patricia. Investigation revealed the theft of four electric Skill Saws, two electric sanders, a jigsaw, a scroll saw, an antique transit Bostrom Model 5, two tool boxes with tools inside, three roofers cutters, two hand planers, six hammers, two hatchets, eight wood chisels, three sets of pliers, a set of socket wrenches and clamps, an old fashioned gas can and a Black and Decker Bench Top Work Center and vise. Officers responded to a reported larceny at 700 South Park, Apt 6. Investigation revealed the theft of a black Kindle Fire and $100 in cash. Investigation continuing.

Officers received information of illegal drug activity at 224 West Spring. Officers applied for and received a search warrant. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Misty R. Cochran, 37, El Dorado Springs, for possession of marijuana under 35 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia with a cash or surety bond of $1,000. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

April 27 – Officers responded to a reported larceny at 213 East 54 Hwy. Investigation revealed the theft of an Ingersoll Rand 7811G Reversible Air Drill with a 3/8” chuck. Investigation continuing. Arrests: Shawda R. Pulley, 30, El Dorado Springs, on the probable cause of possession of a controlled substance. On April 28, officers served Pulley with a Cedar County felony warrant charging her with possession of a controlled Substance with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. She was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Steven S. Horning, 29, El Dorado Springs, on an active Dade County felony warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of dangerous drugs with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was transferred to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending extradition to the Dade County Sheriff’s office, bond and court appearance.

April 28 – Officers responded to a reported larceny at 608 South Forrest, Apt D. Investigation revealed the theft of several items of men’s clothing. Investigation continuing.

Arrest Phillip A. Bemis, 34, El Dorado Springs, on an active Vernon County misdemeanor warrant charging him with failure to appear, on the original charge of larceny, with a cash only bond of $500 and two active Vernon County felony warrants charging him with probation violation on the original charges of shoplifting, with a cash only bond of $10,000. He was extradited to the Vernon County Sheriff’s pffice pending bond and court appearance.
