Tommy Watts, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on May 1, 2013, in North Kansas City Hospital.
Tommy was born in El Dorado Springs on June 28, 1941. He was a graduate of Stockton High School.
He served in the U.S. Army as Tank Commander in Germany. Tommy retired from General Motors Fairfax Plant in 2001. He volunteered at North Kansas City Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Bernice Watts; his in-laws, Harold and Katherine Arnold Davis; his beloved wife of 34 years, Janet, and his brother, Raymond Watts.
Tommy is survived by his daughter, Tanya Scott, and husband, Jim – Salem, VA; son. Gregg Watts, of the home and adored granddaughter, Jordan Anne Scott; brother, Jesse Watts and wife, Joy; sister-in-law, Delores Watts; nieces and nephews. Special thanks to family and friends who helped along the way.
The service was heldTuesday, May 7 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park. Charitable gifts in Tommy’s name may be made to Children’s Miracle Network or Ronald McDonald House.
